OK, maybe not that new… But that’s alright!

Here’s how The Martin Messier Gazette was born…

I love reading blogs. Particularly, I love reading the blogs of specific authors who stimulate and provoke my thinking.

I bet you do too.

A handful of favorites have my preference. I read about 80 blogs a day. Some of them are usual suspects, such as Tom Peters, Seth Godin and Lifehacker. Others are underground subversive thinkers you might have never heard of.

I scan through those 80 blogs every day. When I find something interesting, I stop and read.

That process caught my attention.

I realized that most of us have favorite authors. But not everything our favorite author puts out there really bakes our noodle.

So I wanted a tool that would enable me to aggregate only the best posts from my favorite bloggers on the web.

You see, platforms like Alltop aggregate blogs. But it aggregates the entire feed.

That’s not what I wanted. I wanted only select posts so that I could present them to you.

So I ran my idea through my MasterMind
over at Triiibes.com.

The feedback was phenomenal. Many members though it was a great idea.

But copyright issues exist. I can’t just repost any article I want on here. It would be illegal.

So I did the second best thing I could do, until I get permission from my favorite authors to repost entire articles:

I’m reposting the essential bits from the post and linking back to it.

So now, you can visit The Martin Messier Gazette and browse through all the topics that fascinate me, written by the best bloggers around.

Hopefully, you’ll do the same thing and we can both share and enjoy the best of the web on our respective platforms.
